Destroy PFAS for Good

Permanently destroys PFAS rather than simply moving them from one place to another. More accessible and cost-effective than alternatives, while maintaining some of the highest elimination rates validated at industrial scale.

TECHNOLOGY / INNOVATION

ClarosTechUV™: proprietary UV-based photochemical process that breaks carbon-fluorine bonds at atmospheric pressure.
ClarosLabs™: quantifies 40+ PFAS with fast turnaround.

CURRENT STATUS

Current Status Claros has raised $50.5M in total funding from 17 investors and has approximately 40 employees. Its latest funding was a $10M Series B round in August 2025, with participation from the University of Minnesota, American Century Investments, and F.R. Bigelow Foundation. The next generation commercial PFAS destruction system is expected to exceed 45,000 gallons per day capacity using a single reactor unit.
