This company was established in 2005 to save London's decommissioned fire-hose, ones that had become too damaged to repair and were going to landfill. Today, their highly skilled craftspeople make beautifully designed bags and homeware from 15 different reclaimed materials. 50% of profits from the Fire-hose Collection go to The Fire Fighters Charity and 50% of profits from the Fire & Hide Collection go to Barefoot College International.

TECHNOLOGY / INNOVATION

Repurposes reclaimed materials like fire hoses, leather scraps, and parachutes into luxury accessories

CURRENT STATUS

Actively expanding its sustainable luxury business by transforming reclaimed materials into high-end accessories. The company reinvests profits into environmental initiatives and has ongoing collaborations, including with the Burberry Foundation

ORIGINS

Founded in 2005 after discovering that decommissioned London Fire Brigade hoses were being discarded in landfills. Determined to give these materials a second life, they began transforming them into luxury accessories while donating a portion of profits to charity. Over time, they expanded to upcycle other waste streams, partnering with brands like Burberry to repurpose discarded leather into high-end fashion.
