Logo

Reliable atmospheric water generation even in arduous environments.

Newly synthesised desiccant to absorb H2O molecules from the atmosphere and then condense air molecules to produce potable water. Effective all climates and can uptake water from humidity levels as low as 10% humidity and at high temperatures approaching 40 centigrate. Powered not only with electricity, but also via biomass boilers and solar thermal batteries.

TECHNOLOGY / INNOVATION

The invention is the combination of two technologies. The first being Metal-Organic Frameworks (MOF), a porous crystalline compound with exceptional water absorption, even in low humidity environments that received a Nobel Prize in October of 2025. Using this core technology, the company invented a fluidized rotating bed to absorb and then release these molecules to create water from air by cycling water in and out of the MOFs on a continual basis.

CURRENT STATUS

May 2025 demonstrated effectiveness of technology the first of its kind full-scale prototype demonstrating the potential to produce water more efficiently, reliably, and most importantly in the most arduous of conditions compared to any other technology. The first machine produces 200 litres per day. Now they designing a 500 litre machine to begin bring to market in 2026.

ORIGINS

Company started in Ibiza, 2020 founder’s well (200m deep) had practically dried up requiring trucking in 20,000 litres of water per day. Recognizing this as unsustainable, he went into a deep dive investigating alternative methods to source water. He discovered the MOF technology at CalTech and with a mechanical engineer and a prototype design firm began to develop their machine named the Ark to harvest water from the atmosphere.

OWNERSHIP

Majority owned by founders and small group of private individuals

USP

A machine to create water from air in event low humidity environments as low as 10%. One of the first companies to develop a commercial application new material called Metal Organic Frameworks for which the developers were awarded a Nobel Prize for Chemistry in October 2025.

CUSTOMERS

Anyone seeking water security from high end villa owners to third world environments lacking potable water. Initial focus is on the thousands of villas and homes that face water insecurity.

OF NOTE

Company has produced a 200 litre per day machine and soon a 500 litre machine. They are at the forefront of capitalizing on the potential of MOFs, which many regard as transformational technology.
